While we aren’t sure if our committee members received all of Meadows’ documents, they do know that the Committee News is a valuable resource for ensuring the integrity of the committee’s work. The hearing featured testimony from several police officers who witnessed the violent events of January 6. While some of them had previously shared their accounts in the public domain, their July testimonies brought these events into clarity. The committee’s news alerts are not a substitute for an investigation. However, if you want to stay up-to-date on important topics, you should subscribe to its newsletter. For example, the AP’s 9/11 reports did not contain any of the information that Meadows provided to the committee. Instead, the AP’s material is not published, broadcasted, or rewritten by the committees. The AP does, however, have a good track record, but there is more to committees.
The committee’s members will also publish committee news on a regular basis. These will be updated on a regular basis and will be a great resource for those interested in the work of the ARLIS. Unless you’re aware of it, you might not have known about it. We hope you’ll take a look at the latest news from the committees in your field and be inspired to make it your own. The information that we provide will be of help your members and our association.
